1] Visit the Google Maps page
OK, so to begin, you must first log into your Google account, then visit the official Google Maps website. If you have yet to settle on a favorite web browser to use, we suggest using Firefox. Then again, since Maps is a Google product, Chrome might work a little bit better.
2] Click the Menu button
At the top-left corner of Google Maps, you should see a horizontal Menu bar, also known as the hamburger button. Click on it right away.
3] Select Your Places
From the dropdown menu, you will want to click on the option named, Your Places. You should see it below Location Sharing, so waste no time and select it.
4] Set a home address
Under the Labeled tab, you should see a list of options. Home and Work are likely the only two there, so go on ahead and select Home. From there, add your home address, then complete the task by hitting the Save button. Do the same for Work if you want to add the location of your Workplace as well.
