How to create a Venn Diagram in PowerPoint
Adding a Venn Diagram is just one part of it because not everyone might know how to customize it. Let us discuss this in more detail.
1] Insert a Venn Diagram into your PowerPoint presentation
OK, so when it comes down to adding a Venn Diagram, you must first open Microsoft PowerPoint, then make sure to navigate to the Insert tab. From there, be sure to select SmartArt from the Ribbon options available to you. After that, a window will appear that is called Choose a SmartArt Graphic. From that window, you should see several options to choose from via the left-pane. To create your Venn Diagram, please click on the one that is called Relationship.
A section with a lot of shapes should now be visible to you. Please select Basic Venn to move forward. You can find out the names of each diagram by hovering the mouse pointer over any of them. Once you’ve selected Basic Venn, hit the OK button to add the diagram to your work area for customization.
2] How to customize a Venn Diagram
Now that you know how to add a Venn Diagram to your PowerPoint presentation document, it is now time to customize it to fit your needs. We can do this by dragging the Venn Diagram box to make it smaller or larger. You can also rotate the box to your will. Furthermore, after you’ve completed the resizing task, it is now time to add some text within the boxes. Click the text section, then type what is needed via the keyboard, and that is it.
When it comes down to colors, the ability is there to change the color of your Venn Diagram to something more pleasing than the default options. To change the colors, select the Diagram, then click on Design. Right away you should now see the color options, so go on ahead and select that. A dropdown menu will appear with several Basic Venn Diagrams stacked out with different colors. Choose one and watch as the changes are made in real-time.
As you can see, each circle has the same color, but worry not because we can change this for the better. Simply right-click on one of the circles, then click on Format Shape.
